 |
Wildflowers are complex gems of art that often go unnoticed as “weeds.” Anne Kindl has based Wildflower on a pastel she created of wildflowers on a Kentucky roadside. The flowers depict wild roses, daisies, goldenrod and bell flowers – a tribute to the nature of the Bluegrass. Kindl has been working in pastels for the past few years, having participated in a number of exhibitions in Lexington and Louisville. She is a freelance designer and has served as a creative manager. She participated in LexArts’ Dynamic Doors public art project in 2003.
