With their habitat constantly shrinking, the
original wild horses of the Bluegrass have evolved a chameleon-like skin to
mimic elements of their unavoidable urban surroundings. In this instance,
the horses have captured accurately the bricks of older Lexington structures,
allowing them to roam unseen throughout downtown Lexington. Damon Farmer participates
in several annual international sand displays and competitions, having been
World, American and North American solo champion. When at home, he works in
other artistic mediums, primarily paint.
