Horse Mania 2010 Horses

The word “streamlined” connotes elegance and efficiency, also an apt description for a thoroughbred in motion. Aquatic-colored lines flow over the form of the horse Streamlined, occasionally diverted by small stone-like shapes, carrying bubbles and leaves that drift freely or gather in eddies. The artist Philip High used ribbons of cut and painted Tyvek to mimic the streams of water. High has exhibited his work throughout the region and in Chicago. For more than 20 years, he has been a professional graphic designer and illustrator.
