The steam engine was arguably the most important technology of the Industrial Revolution. Steam replaced muscle – or horse – power, forever shifting the definition of “horsepower.” Mechanical Horse reflects the machine as a work of art and craftsmanship. The horse’s creators, Jerome Wills and Jamie Clausius, have extensive backgrounds as theatre artists. Both currently work for the Lexington Children’s Theatre – Wills as Technical Director and Clausius as the Lead Scenic Artist/Properties Master.
