Horse Mania 2010 Horses

This rusted relic is the sole remaining example of a 19th century inventor’s ill-conceived attempt to combine the industrial and the organic, as a transition between the horse power and the Steam Age. With its inner gears, pumps and mechanisms exposed, this iron equine reminds us that technology is not always the best solution. Damon Farmer annually participates in several international sand displays and competitions, having been World, American and North American solo champion. When at home, he works in other artistic mediums, primarily paint.
