In the Sky With Diamonds reminds us that beauty is not merely skin deep,
encouraging us to look underneath to realize an object's true beauty. The horse incorporates recycled crash
glass on the exterior, with a full spectrum of brilliantly colored foils, glitter, holographic paper,
automotive metal flake, cellophanes, plus real gold and silver lying underneath. Linda Sherly recently
moved from the West Coast, bringing her unique artistic style to the Bluegrass region. Her participation
in the event is bittersweet, coming at the request of her sister who is battling 4th stage cancer.
