While the name “Glade Runner” plays on the
title of the dark sci-fi movie Blade Runner, this horse depicts a complete
tonal opposite. Just beyond the tall grass in the foreground, two Great Egrets
rise from an Everglade-like waterway, into a luminous dawn sky. Philip High
has participated in a variety of one-person and group shows in the region
and in Chicago. For more than 20 years, he has been a professional graphic
designer and illustrator.
